Little Noise Sessions are back! - Once again offering the biggest names, the best new talent and a few surprises!
Mencap and Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley have been hard at work putting this year’s line-up together and, as always, they’re promising a few surprises in addition to what’s already another amazing line-up, Little Noise Sessions 2009 will span 10 nights and include headline sets from Editors, Mika, Lost Prophets, Florence and the Machine and Taio Cruz to name few. With previous ‘secret’ performances from The Killers, U2 and Chris Martin, it’s anyone’s guess who will rock up unannounced this year.
The gigs will once again take place at the Union Chapel in Islington from 16 – 24 November 2009.
Little Noise Sessions began in 2006 when Mencap teamed up with Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley to produce a series of exclusive acoustic gigs at The Union Chapel, a stunningly intimate venue in London's Islington.
Since then the beautiful church venue, famous for its stunning acoustics, has played host to an amazing line-up of artists including Noel Gallagher, Amy Winehouse and U2, stripping back their sound and playing sell-out acoustic shows to an audience of only 700 people a night.
