Clothes Show Live will return to Birmingham's NEC from 4-9 December 2009 for more fashion, hair, beauty, make-up, models, celebrities and shopping opportunities than ever before.
Clothes Show Live is the largest fashion and beauty event in the world. With non stop catwalk shows, make-overs, style tips, model scouts, live music, celebrities and over 450 fashion, hair and beauty companies all under one roof, it's a great day out for visitors. The stage, situated in the Pink Zone will be host to a selection of hair and beauty brands showing you exactly how to get the perfect pout and beautiful bouffant.The DJ Bar in association with Gatecrasher is situated within the Red Zone and is the place to catch the latest tunes from the DJ’s. Located in the Blue Zone the brand new Ice Bar a shiveringly cool stop off to refresh yourself with a glass of bubbly, this bar is where you are guaranteed to see the coolest of fashionistas. Put your feet up and take a rest in between your shopping. The Designer Catwalk is where the true fashionistas will converge. Situated in the Black Label Zone, this uber cool catwalk will be the place to catch the piece de résistance of designers. Last year visitors saw designs from prestigious designers Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood. If it’s the latest fashion collections you are looking for, you do not want to miss this exquisite catwalk. Plus designer collections straight from the international runways including an exclusive Asian Catwalk brought to you by Asian Woman Magazine. The Image Catwalk in association with Company Magazine is the place to be to catch the latest High Street collections you need to pay the Image Catwalk a visit. Visitors will be able to see next season’s designs live on stage. This buzzing and energetic catwalk is positioned in between the Purple and Blue Zone and certainly is the place to be for High Street fashion, competitions and of course a spot of celeb spotting! The stage is also host to the fantastic College Catwalk, a display of talented final year student designs, created Clothes Show Live. This is a unique opportunity to see up and coming designers showcasing their collections live on the stage, this year’s college forum has been expanded to give more students the opportunity to display their items. THE STYLE SHOWThe Style Show is now an area of Clothes Show Live; we are not having a separate booking line for the Style Show this year. But we do need to promote this area as more sophisticated fashion for women in their 20s+. This is where visitors can have a glass of bubbly at the cocktail bar, shop from boutique brands and wander over to black label zone for the Designer Catwalk and designer labelsMake sure you take a stop of at the Cocktail Bar, situated within The Style Show for a well earned drink after all that shopping. We all know that shopping can be thirsty work, so what better way to have a little breather than putting your feet up, sipping a cocktail and boasting about your purchases to your mates. This is also where visitors will be able to get a new hairstyle in the Stop and Chop area where celebrity hairdressers will be on hand to create the latest looks. The Style Show features include: Fashion Brassiere & Bar, the place to enjoy a sophisticated lunch and a glass of pinot. The Cocktail Bar next to STOP AND CHOP, where visitors can get their hair cut by celebrity hairdresser NEW FOR 2009Celebrity Santa’s Grotto Visitors flock to sit on a celebrity’s knee in Santa’s grotto.Gift-wrap service Get your presents gift wrapped professionally ready to take home for under the tree. Other celebrities appearing in the Fashion Theatre include Dave Berry, George Lamb, Fearne Cotton, Louise Roe and Hollyoaks stars Andrew Moss, Jennifer Metcalfe, Ashley Taylor-Dawson, Carley Stenson, Anthony Quinlan, Gemma Merna, Stephen Beard, Zoë Lister and Kevin Sacre.
